GREGORY B. JONES, Partner, Chief Investment Officer – Mr. Jones and the IREA team acquire affordable, multi-family properties with a focus on PBS8 and NOAH properties. This team will find, underwrite and source both off-market and brokered opportunities primarily benefitting from a “value add” component. Mr. Jones will oversee underwriting, contract negotiation, political dialogue, and the structuring of the capital stack.
Mr. Jones has established strong relationships with multiple HUD offices, Freddie Mac, Newmark Knight Frank, Greystone, Berkadia, Walker & Dunlop, CMBS lenders, and regional banks. The versatility of these relationships affords IREI III investors opportunistic debt terms, increasing the probability of achieving targeted cash yields. Mr. Jones and his team share a sound expertise in PBS8, LIHTC, and NOAH properties. Since 2011, Mr. Jones has closed over $350 million of affordable, multi-family, achieving or exceeding targeted returns on every disposition to date.
Mr. Jones has a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville and completed his undergraduate degree at Emory University.
